Trapped Inside

Bell Jar, Metal, Resin, Menstrual Blood. Trapped Inside, 2024, is a metaphorical enactment of the way the maternal body is regulated and disciplined by the patriarchal symbolic order. The menstrual blood that is meant to leak and flow is solidified in resin, mounted on a metal stand and contained in a bell jar.
